This notice is directed at all NHTOA members who have not yet completed the NHIAA registration process. I apologize to those of you who have already completed the process.

Beginning July 1, 2008, all certified and associate members of the NHTOA (and all other members of officials groups) must register with the NHIAA.  The registration fee is $20, which covers NFHS insurance at $12 and an $8 NHIAA administrative fee.  If you are a member of other sports officiating groups, you need only complete this process once a year, preferably in July.

Your current NHTOA/NFHS insurance has been terminated. and will not be reinstated until you register with the NHIAA.

According to Tia Bergeron, our NHIAA contact, “Any official who works a regular season varsity meet or an NHIAA state tournament will need to be enrolled in the NHIAA via the Arbiter.” and “Any official adding late would only be members until June 30th and will need to rejoin each year.”

I repeat.  You will not be allowed to officiate at any fall championship meets or other meets in the winter or spring seasons until you are registered with the NHIAA.  Please complete the process as soon as possible.  Please notify me upon your completion of the registration process so that I may assign you to work at the cross country championship meets.

The directions for completing the process are written below.

  1. Click on  https://www.thearbiter.net/official/registration.aspx?groupid=103821  OR go to the NHIAA Website; Officials Links; click on the first link.
  2. You should come to a screen that asks you for your First Name, Last Name and E-mail address.
  3. Your password is your last name and you will need to agree to their terms and conditions and then change your password.
  4. They only accept MasterCard and Visa.  You will not be prompted for a credit card type because Visa starts with a “4”; MasterCard starts with a “5”.
If you have questions about the registration process, please either contact me at 332-7327 or you may contact Donna Plumb, NHIAA Sports Secretary, at 603-228-8671.
